This Baritone guitar from Alvarez is an especially beautiful instrument that is incredibly fun to play. The low string vibrates at "B" and you can definitely feel the vibrations in your chest when you play it. The B-B tuning will open up an entire world of creative possibilities that you may not have come up with on a standard tuned guitar. Our songwriter friends especially love baritones, as it tends to be a better fit for many vocal ranges without using a capo.
Luscious rosewood back and sides on the Alvarez Yairi YB1 are complimented by bound ebony fretboard and headstock while bold and sweet overtones rings from the solid spruce top. Multiple body binding, gold die-cast tuners, abalone rosette, and clear pick guard complete a beautiful instrument making it look just as good as it sounds.
The back of this guitar is some species of Rosewood. Though we can't confirm the exact origin, it is strikingly beautiful reminding us of Madagascar with hints Macassar Ebony.

This guitar has playing wear, as seen in the photographs. There are many dents and dings on the back of the neck, most likely from a capo, examples indicated in the detail photo. There are dents on the top, as captured in the photographs. There is finish scratching on the pickguard area, throughout the top and some on the back, shown in the photographs. The headstock has numerous scratches, also seen in the detail photos. A strap button has been installed. There is minor fretwear in the first position most likely from using a capo. Hardshell case included.
