With the exception of the Baby, the 0 is Collings' smallest guitar and is offered with the same shorter scale found on the 12-fret 00. Although measuring only 13.5 inches in width (smaller than a typical classical guitar), the Collings 0 has tone and volume that belies its first impression as being less than full-sized. It can double as a travel guitar or a small OM, performing both roles equally well.
This is a very comfortable guitar to play and the tone is amazing, especially considering the small size of this particular guitar. It resonates with clean and clear notes that are punchy, sweet, and articulate. It is perfect for the traveling musician looking to lighten their load without sacrificing tone or playability on stage or in the studio.
This guitar has a few small, but noticeable dents on the top as shown in the photos. One is located just above the fretboard around the 16th fret. The other is on the upper bout near the bottom. There are some light scratches on the pickguard and on the top just below the pickguard, typical of being played. There is light fret wear on the B string first position and the pickguard has some lift along the bottom edge. There is a small mark on the rear-top of the headstock that appears to be from the factory. There are approx 7 dents (visible in back photo) on the back near the binding as well as some very light finish scratches from being played.
