American Vintage Series marks the return to original specs with smooth, rounded body radii, distinctive neck shapes, aged plastic parts, and pickups that replicate all the physical and tonal aspects of the originals. This faithful reissue is a tribute to Fender’s original classic that revolutionized the solid body electric guitar as we know it! The neck pick up is wired true to vintage specs with a tone roll off built in. The folks at Fender were nice enough to include a capacitor to change the vintage style wiring to a more modern wiring scheme that allows you to have complete control over your tone knob.
It's simplicity of design and function have made the '52 Telecaster® one of the most played and heard instruments since the day it was first introduced!. All original specs are detailed, including Premium Ash body, One-Piece Tinted Maple neck, Maple fretboard, Original Vintage Tele® Bridge, ("ashtray" included), and two New American Vintage Tele® pickups. Tweed Case is also included.
This guitar has a few finish scratches on the body, none through the finish. There is a small dent on the top. The back shows some staining from the original case liner. Hardshell case included.
