This YB1 Baritone guitar from Alvarez is an especially beautiful instrument that is also incredibly fun to play. The low string vibrates at an earth shaking "B", and you can definitely feel the vibrations in your chest when you play this one. The B-B tuning will open up an entire world of creative possibilities that you may not have considered on a standard tuned guitar. Our songwriter friends especially love baritones, as it tends to be a better fit for many vocal ranges without using a capo.
Luscious rosewood back and sides on the Alvarez Yairi YB1 are complimented by bound ebony fretboard and headstock while bold and sweet overtones rings from the solid spruce top. Multiple body binding, gold die-cast tuners, abalone rosette, and clear pick guard complete a beautiful instrument making it look just as good as it sounds.
The back of this guitar is species of Rosewood of unknown origin. Though we can't confirm the exact designation, it is strikingly beautiful reminding us of Madagascar with hints Macassar Ebony.
This guitar shows a few scratches on the headstock along with a dent at the very top, as shown in the photograph. There is a dent on the side of the fretboard, also shown in the photograph. Hardshell case included.
