Santa Cruz' OM offering is a small-body guitar with superbly powerful sound. Up to the challenge of any songwriter or professional musician, the OM is sure to please the most discerning of players.
As with any of the the guitars built by Santa Cruz, the OM is balanced to perfection. While the OM size favors the bass and midrange, the method used to hand brace each top leaves no note unrepresented. It is this "taptuning" process that Richard and his crew imploy allows them to capitalize on every nuance and overtone each piece of wood has to offer. Don't let it's small body fool you, the OM is one of the most versatile models Santa Cruz offers. Whether delicately fingerpicking or strumming with a cause - this OM will deliver.
The guitar looks, plays and sounds great. It does, however, have some fretwear in the first position and a minor indentation/finish crack on the top, lower bout near the bass side. The finish crack measures 7/8" in length. There are also 5 other very, very slight indentations and some slightly rough spots along the body binding - all of which are too small to photograph. It includes the original SCGC TKL hardshell case.
