If you wanted to emulate the crying sound of a pedal steel, you feverishly practiced double stop bends, made sure your intonation was spot on (lest you sound like a beginning violin player), or you could invest a sizable amount of money and have a "B-Bender" attached to the guitar. Your favorite guitar was routed out and a device that ran from the upper strap button to the B-string allowed you bend the string by merely pulling down on the guitar and it would do the rest. The Fender American Nashville B-Bender Telecaster is a versatile instrument born out of the needs of demanding session players that can meet the needs of guitarists looking for various tones and adds the unique addition of a  B bender to their sonic palette. The optional Texas special Strat pickup in the middle position allows for the "detent" sound so many Tele players have searched for and not found in this model. The pickup gives you just the right amount of "quack" for those slinky Knopler sounds, or those out of phase country licks. The Satin finshed neck is lightinng fast and has no amount of hand drag associated with it.

The Parsons/Greene "B" bender is dead on accurate every time, and if it gets out of whack, there is an adjustable tuning wheel on the back plate for easy adjustment of intonation. The rolled fingerboard edges give the impression of an older-more played instrument that feels at home under your fingers. This guitar is in mint, almost new condition, and has no dings, nicks or scratches to be found. The protective covers are still in place on the pickguard and the back plate! It includes the original molded SKB heavy duty case, as well as all the original case candy.
