The ResoRocket is one of our newly designed single resonator guitars. THis model incorporates a redesigned coverplate pattern to complement the distinctive Tricone-style grill work. The upper bout has been modified for easier access to the higher frets. The name Vintage Steel refers to the plating process. The satin-nickel plating on each Vintage Steel intrument is designed to look aged with use and the passage of time.
Current history -- The ResoRocket was first introduced in 2004. This guitar strays from the traditional style of the 1920's -- 1930's National by utilizing tricone sound ports in conjunction with a standard 9.5 single biscuit resonator cone.
