Pre-Owned: 2008 Burriss Royal Bluesman

2008 Burriss Royal Bluesman

2008 Burriss Royal Bluesman

Quality, Versatility and sweet tones have always been the hallmark of the Burriss Design philosophy and the Royal Bluesman is no exception. Despite it's ultra portable stature the Royal bluesman is really 2 high quality audio devices in one.

It's primary design intention is a warm and expressive tube-type guitar amp with on-board spring reverb and tremolo features unheard of on an amp of this size. By moving the power switch down to the "FX" mode the Royal Bluesman takes on a whole new identity. In the FX mode the Royal Bluesman can be unloaded from the speaker so that it can be used as a stand-alone reverb tremolo unit into another amp or mixing console. The features dont stop there, also included is a series effects loop complete with send and return level controls which allows the return to be used as a quasi 2nd channel.

Burrriss was first to the market with a handy pedal board power supply built right into the amp which supplies 9vd@1A to your pedal board via the footswitch cable. The included VIB+ footswitch has a 2.1mm power outlet jack that allows guitarists to daisy chain out of the VIB+ to power most any standard 9V effect pedal.

Other features include 4-8-16 ohm speaker taps and 50/60hz world power capable.

Some Key features-

1.) High voltage class A amplifier-Reverb with dwell and mix controls parallel with the guitar pre-amp Vibrato (optional foot pedal available).

2.) Series Loop or Parallel Return.

3.) Allows effects to be added in the loop.

4.) Allows the Royal Bluesman to act as a stand-alone reverb and vibrato to be used with other amps for those effects.

5.) Royal Bluesman may be used as a pre-amp which also allows it to be used as a boost when used with the Burriss Chaloopa Loop Pedal.

6.) Line level input parallel with the guitar channel allows you to run external music through your amp while playing along.

7.) Capable of two line level inputs using the "send" jack Volume: from bedroom to gigging level.

CE and ROHS certified and proudly hand wired in the USA!

This single channel, Burriss Royal Bluesman also includes a custom made speaker cabinet, and soft carrying case. This custom made enclosure was made by Power sound, and features a Weber 8" Blue Pup Ceramic speaker. From Weber's website; "This is a 10" version of our P12B Blue Dog. We call it the 'Blue Pup'. It uses a 1 1/4" voice coil and the AlNiCo plug magnet (unless ordered with the Ceramic option). If you like the brit sound of the Blue Dog, we're sure you'll be impressed with the sound of the P10P. It has excellent sensitivity, overall smooth response without being HIFI-ish, and has clear, clean highs." The original cables (s) for footswitch and patch cable amp - cab are missing. It has an $125 upgrade to current 2012 specifications. Additionally, it has a 3 position power switch: Normal and No Load which includes: Reverb/Preamp, Trem/Pre, EQ/Pre. There were a few very minor scratches to the cabinet as expected from a used amplifier. View detailed photos below.

1994 Bruno Underground 30 Custom ****NEW PRICE!!!***

1994 Bruno Underground 30 Custom ****NEW PRICE!!!***

"Factory Boutique Amps" is not in Tony Bruno's vocabulary, obsessed with a single goal to build a guitar amp with ultimate tone, Tony doesn't believe in sacrificing the tone and quality for quantity. Tony, along with most great artists, are never fully satisfied with their creations. He is incredibly meticulous in his quest to build the ultimate amplifier and has been universally praised for building the finest sounding amps in the world. From session players to Grammy award winning Musicians, Tony is often considered the Amp Guru because of his variety of different amps with amazing tonal complexity, warmth, and balance. With his eclectic knowledge of tube amplifier design, components, and construction combined with passion and a superbly tuned ear place his amplifiers high in demand.

This custom underground 30 is a 2 channel amplifier with Tony's renowned reverb on the second channel only. The reverb is Tony's custom 3 Knob Tube Reverb that is incredibly lush and spacious with separate controls for tone, mix and dwell, as the original design that these are based on had as well. The Underground 30 features 36 watts of class A power from 4-EL84s and a 5AR4 rectifier and pure tube bliss.

The cabinet itself is something to speak of... nowadays hand built pieces of equipment, and guitars for that matter, are hard to come by, especially amplifiers. This amplifier is entirely hand built including the beautiful dovetail jointed cabinet. We are unsure of the wood used but it features an incredible stain that gives this amp a very vintage boutique vibe.

This amp leaves nothing to be wished for, and it is no wonder why this amp has won so many awards. The Underground 30 was the solid winner in Guitar Player Magazines Feb. 97 shootout of 23 boutique guitar amps. The Underground 30 was also awarded The Year's best Gear award in 1997 for Guitar Player Magazine.

While we are unsure of the exact build date of this amplifier, we have done research, taken the amp apart an found that one of the main transformers has the date November 1994 and based on this are using this as the build date. This Custom Bruno Underground 30 is in absolute pristine condition with no major wear to note. There were a few minor scratches to the cabinet as expected from an amp 10+ years old.

SOLD: Pre-Owned: 2005 Dr Z MAZ18 Jr

2005 Dr Z MAZ18 Jr

Dr Z MAZ18 Jr

Originally designed as a "grab-and-go" studio and small club amp, the Maz 18 has made its way to some of the largest stages in the country. Don't confuse "18 Watts" with "weak and flabby". The Maz 18 will amaze you with its definition and headroom, all the way down to the low E...plenty of power for a number of speaker cabinet accommodations. You'll use this amp in small clubs and never think about needing to mic it. Got a larger venue? Mic the Maz 18 and play away, because big amp tone and soul is all there. This is also a great amp for jazz guitarists, whether you're looking to replace a small Blackface amp or looking for an amp with enough complexity for fusion.

The Maz 18 is an amp that every Strat or Tele player will love, but it's not only for single coil players as humbuckers are right at home with the Maz 18 too. You get great drive sounds at higher volumes or the ability to use the Lo input for cleaner humbucker sounds. With a master volume and full EQ there is plenty of room for dialing in your desired tone. The "Cut" knob may be the most useful and versatile tone shaping tool on any guitar amp. Throughout its range, it produces a large variety of sounds to satisfy players using all guitars for most every style of music. The "Cut" knob is best used after the EQ is all set; turn it up for extra edge, turn it down for a more vintage sound.

The Maz 18 has the perfect combination of front end drive and output tube distortion. It has a wonderful three dimensional reverb clean tone, matched with the sweetest top end response and tightest bottom end in a lower powered amp. All this has made the Maz 18 one of the most popular selling reverb combo amps to date.

The front panel features Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Reverb, Cut, and Master. The back panel features a  4 and 8 ohm out.  The 18 is powered by a pair of cathode biased EL84s and a 5AR4 rectifier. This particular 2005 model does not feature the EQ bypass found on current production models

This Dr Z MAZ18 Jr is in absolute pristine condition with no major wear to note.

SOLD: Pre-Owned: 2006 Rivera Sedona Lite

2006 Rivera Sedona Lite

The Sedona was the result of a concept pioneered by Rivera, with the collaboration of Nashville fingerpicking legend Doyle Dykes to create a tube acoustic guitar amp. While trying to stay true to the original tone that the Rivera Sedona amps are famous for Rivera wanted to create a more compact and lighter amp that would meet weight requirements of airlines for musicians on the go. The introduction of the Sedona Lite was Rivera's answer to the need of a compact amplifier with incredible tone and versatility.

Delivering 55 watts of dynamic EL-34 tube power the Sedona has an incredible tone that can not only be used on the stage, but also as versatile tool in the studio as well. With a 12" rare-earth woofer and a high-power, liquid-cooled dome tweeter combined with the warmth of the analog tube tone this amplifier stays true to your original guitars tone but adds a certain layer of depth that is sometime lost when your guitar is mic'd.

Here are some of the features of the Sedona Lite from Rivera.com. - "Channel 1 features a special ultra-low-noise input that allows you to accept signals from balanced or unbalanced instruments or a microphone.

Instruments like the Taylor ES series as well as the new Martin guitars equipped with balanced outputs will be at their optimum when used in Channel 1 with the balanced input. Even if your guitar is an inexpensive model, using it with the Sedona Lite, will provide your sound with the best of tonal ingredients. Channel 2 features a harmonically active unbalanced input to amplify either a passive or active instrument, including electric guitars.

Instruments with multiple outputs, such as the Fishman system that utilizes a microphone as well as a piezo transducer, can utilize both channels simultaneously to balance the level and tone between the two instrument signal sources.

In the age of digital effects, we are proud to provide the legendary, costly, analog Accutronics mechanical reverb as a standard feature. With its special deep, lush sonic character, it enhances your tones with a sweet and natural swell and decay.

With built-in parametric anti-feedback controls on the front panel, you can easily eliminate irritating low-frequency droning sounds as well as enhance the overall tone of your instruments."

SOLD: Pre-Owned: 1967 Fender Twin Blackface

1967 Fender Twin Blackface

Although Leo Fender developed many ground breaking an iconic instruments, his primary passion was amplifiers. None of his accomplishments exceed those that he made to the electric tube amplifier.

The tones of rock and roll are defined by the circuits of the early amps of fender. In early 1965 Leo Fender sold his company to the Columbia Broadcasting System, or CBS. Although some considered the sale a positive move for Fender many consider the sale to CBS led to a reduction of quality in fenders products. Not all of Fenders' products were immediately effected from the sale of CBS in fact the Blackface modeled Amps remained untouched until 1967.

Introduced during Fender's blackface era, the Fender Twin Reverb became incredibly popular and has a familiar vintage tone and a world renowned spring reverb. The Twin Reverb and the standard Twin amp have very different circuits, thus having different tones. All Twin Reverb's feature a solid state rectifier.

With two independent channels , the Twin Reverb is extremely versatile. The Normal channel has two inputs as well as a bright switch which compensates for loss of brightness when the volume is set lower than 6. There are also the standard treble, mid, and bass tone controls. The Vibrato channel features the same controls of the normal channel plus the vibrato speed and intensity controls as well as the reverb control.

From 1953 to '67 Fender stamped a two letter date code on the paper tube chart glued inside of the cabinet. The first letter is the year (C='53, D='54, ect.) with the second the month (A=January, ect.) Below you will see the photograph of said Label which indicates that this Amp was built in June of 1967.

This 1967 Fender Twin Reverb is in absolute incredible condition, there are just a few minor scratches and scuffs that are photographed in detail below. Original Amp Cover Included.

SOLD: Pre-Owned: 2004 Fender 1957 Reissue Twin Amp

2004 Fender 1957 Reissue Twin Amp

Although Leo Fender developed many ground breaking an iconic instruments, his primary passion was amplifiers. None of his accomplishments exceed those that he made to the electric tube amplifier.

The Fender 1957 Twin Combo is a harmonically rich Amp that accurately reproduces the 1955-1957 amplifiers low powered 5E8A circuit, which produces 40 watts into a dynamic pair of Alinco 12" speakers.  The clean familiar tones of this amp are great for blues, rock, and even country. When combined with distortion and the volume cranked, this Twin amp has an extremely fat tone that can work in any environment and compliment many playing styles.

With a solid pine cabinet this amp resonates with a lush warm and woody tone. Covered in genuine lacquered tweed and vintage grille cloth this amp truly does resemble the look that fender was famous for in the 50's. The complimentary chrome control panel of this Fender Twin Combo includes Normal and Bright volumes, 4 Inputs (2 Normal, 2 Bright), Treble, Bass, and Presence knobs.

This Fender 1957 Reissue Twin Amp is in near-mint condition and hard to distinguish used from new. There were only a few scuffs that we photographed in detail below. The original ziploc bag with all the amp's documentation and the amp cover is also included as seen in the photographs below.

SOLD: 1966 Blackface Fender Princeton Reverb

1966 Blackface Fender Princeton Reverb

First introduced in 1964 the Princeton Reverb was an affordable upgrade from the non-reverb Princeton, Champ and Vibro Champ amps. At just 12 watts the Princeton reverb was the smallest fender amp to offer on-board reverb. From 1953 to '67 Fender stamped a two letter date code on the paper tube chart glued inside of the cabinet. The first letter is the year (C='53, D='54, ect.) with the second the month (A=January, ect.) Below you will see the photograph of said Label which indicates that this Amp was built in June of 1966. The original Jensen Speaker is stamped 220549, indicating that the speaker was made in the 49th week of 1965.

This 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb is all original, in excellent condition and includes the original cover! There are a few minor scratches and scuffs that we did our best to capture in the photographs below. Foot switches are not included.

SOLD: Pre-Owned: 2011 Swart Atomic Space Tone Amplifier with Night Light Annenuator

2011 Swart Atomic Space Tone Amplifier with Night Light Annenuator

The idea of the Atomic Space Tone hit Michael Swart when he was working on a vintage Gibson Scout guitar amp. It had Reverb, Tremolo, and 15 watts of pure rocking vintage tone power but only three preamp tubes and two EL-84 output tubes. He thought to himself - I have never seen an amp that could do so much with so little and sound surprisingly good... but he knew it could be even better.

He knew something could be built revolving around  his favorite little tone generator, the 6V6.  He sent a note of thanks to his cohort for the inspiration for one of the best amplifiers he had ever built and the only thing he has found to equal the soul and amazing tone of the ST-6V6se but with even MORE power. He called it the ATOMIC SPACE TONE... and it's a winner - this beast sounds amazing!  This amp brings more tube soul than Michael thought possible, even compared to some of his favorite vintage amps. We are talking ALL TUBE circuitry, even the Tremolo and Reverb, all leading into the excellent 12" Mojotone BV-25m speaker!

The Atomic Space Tone is the 2nd amp in Swart's "Tweed Series" which takes a finger jointed pine cabinet and covers it with top quality tweed with the addition of a coat of lacquer to give it both durability and a classic appearance.  The sides are made of dark lacquered tweed giving the amp an instantly unique look.

This used amplifier is difficult to distinguish from new.  The Night Light attenuator is included, as well as the original footswitch.

The first channel features 2 inputs to choose from, one optimized for piezo pickups and one 1/4" line input.  Channel 2 features a mic/line input with a dual XLR and 1/4" jack... making this perfect for a guitarist that plugs in a vocal mic as well.

SOLD: Epiphone Blues Custom 30 Watt 2×12″ Combo Amp

Epiphone Blues Custom 30 Watt 2x12

The 30W Epiphone Blues Custom 30 combo guitar amp takes the competition down at the knees with pro performance and features at a phenomenally low price. Dual-channel 30W AB operation (pentode) or 15W Class A operation (triode) plus independent or interactive tone controls and specially designed Lady Luck 12" speakers by Eminence are impressive enough on paper, but when you hear the tonal quality and feel the organic interactivity, you won't believe your ears.

The Blues Custom 30 amp's tube rectifier provides bluesy sag while the tube-driven reverb sounds incredibly natural. 3-band EQ plus added mid-control on the hot channel let you dial in hard-hitting definition. The Epiphone Blues Custom amp's 12AX7 preamp tubes with DC powered filaments operate very quietly.

This amp is new in the box, but is being sold as "new old stock."
