December 2nd, 2010:  Contacted by PayPal, apparently this transaction was paid with the use of American Express via our shopping cart... At this time, the purported owner of the card (who denies being the person who ordered or took delivery of the guitar) reports they did not make or authorize this purchase.

Though unlikely, we surmise that it is possible some busy individuals might only manage to reconcile their American Express statement twice each year, thus discovering that their card was indeed stolen 5 months earlier and they hadn’t yet noticed.  Doubtful, ya’ think?

We are offering a $1,000 reward for recovery of this stolen instrument, and / or information leading to the arrest & prosecution of the thief.

Needless to say, we no longer accept American Express for purchases.
