Steve Kaufman's Acosutic Kamps are designed to gather musicians of all levels from around the globe with common goals- learning, playing, eating and sleeping music. Whether you are a beginner's beginner or a seasoned professional, each Kamp's classes and activities will inspire and challenge you. Our intent is to maintain a non-competitive, learning atmosphere that will encourage you to grow musically and seek out new ways of playing your instrument.
Steve has put together the strongest team of Guitar, Bass, Old Time Fiddle, Bluegrass Fiddle, Dobro, Old Time Banjo, Bluegrass Banjo, Mountain Dulcimer, Songwriting, Singing/Vocals and Mandolin instructors the world has to offer.
We are proud to be working with Composite Acoustics to donate this Legacy Dreadnought to be given away at this year's Acoustic Kamp. The guitar is constructed entirely of carbon fiber, rendering it virtually indestructible... perfect for those hot, sticky festival jams. Temperature and humidity does not affect these guitars, so you can play them anywhere, even right next to a blazing hot campfire, with none of the dangers wood guitars present. Even better... these guitars actually sound like guitars, not a carbon fiber copy of a guitar. The carbon fiber tops are voiced with specific tonalities in mind and sound astonishingly natural.
