The DM is Huss and Dalton's standard Mahogany dreadnought, known for balanced tonal quality. This particular custom model features figured Mahogany with a European Spruce top. European Spruce is a tonewood that produces rich lows and balanced mids and highs with plenty of power for heavy handed players. European Spruce offers a stiffness to weight ratio in between Sitka and Adirondack and is a great compromise for many players.
The figured mahogany features on the back and sides of this guitar is an exceptional visual upgrade and lends a crisp, woody tone to the dreadnought. Maple body binding is the perfect finishing touch, adding a classy, more luxurious look than traditional ivoroid and tortoise bindings.
