The Huss and Dalton DM is a classic dreadnought design with a boost to the midrange for a more balanced tonal quality. It pairs Mahogany back and sides with a Sitka Spruce top for a sound that is very crisp and defined with lots of definition. The Sitka Spruce is perfect for players with a lighter pick attack who also play fingerstyle.
Something about the Huss and Dalton line makes the guitars smell especially aromatic. While playing this guitar the smell of the wood travels up to the players nose and if you are not careful, this can be very addictive and is known to cause sore fingers. Nothing smells better than a Huss and Dalton!
If the smell isn't enough, this DM more importantly sounds fantastic! It is a joy to play and is very balanced across the entire fretboard. Lead players will love the big midrange that this guitar exhibits making every note very clear and defined, cutting through even the most demanding rhythm sections. The sound is very round and the low end is very smooth and never boomy, balancing the tone quite nicely.
Huss and Dalton also utilizes Adirondack Spruce bracing standard on all of their guitars, which is an incredible feature, especially at this price point. Adirondack braces are thinner and lighter making the guitar much more resonant and open.
