Originally located in Bozeman Montana, now Logan, Bruce Weber and his crew of skilled craftspeople have been building phenomenal modern versions of the traditional F- and A style mandolins since 1997, and can trace the origins of the company to the original Flatiron Mandolin company.
The Weber Beartooth was named for the rugged Beartooth mountain range in South Central Montana. This range contains Montana's highest peak, Granite Peak, at 12,799 feet. It is also part of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area which encompasses the lower 48's largest single expanse of land above 10,000 feet.
The Beartooth features a gloss finished top, which sweetens the tone a bit compared to a satin top. The top is hand carved Spruce with beatiful Maple back and sides. This top of this Weber Mandolin is very responsive without requiring a heavy pick attack. Combined with maple the tone is incredibly warm with a smooth high end and punchy midrange. When "chopping" chords for rhythm, this mandolin has that desirable "crack" that drives every Bluegrass jam and could cut through any mix.
To complete the package, this Weber Beartooth also features grained ivoroid bindings and gold tuners with pearloid buttons. These additional features really make this 2006 Weber Beartooth stand out, with a very classy and traditional appearance.
This 2006 Weber Beartooth is in excellent condition and hard to distinguish from new. There are a few light scratches to the top and back that we did our best to capture in the detailed photographs below. Original Hardshell Case included.

OM stands for Orchestra Model, but 80 years after this body shape was first designed it has become the most popular 14-fret model with fingerstyle guitar soloists who choose to play on steel strings. Yet flatpickers also find it appealing, and when the graceful cutaway is added the OM1 is often used by lead players who routinely explore all 20 frets. The compact shape makes the Collings OM1AC equally easy to handle onstage or when sitting on the couch, and the relatively shallow body (barely over 4 inches deep) results in balanced tone and an immediate response.
This particular 2009 Collings OM1AC features a custom Adirondack Red Spruce top, bringing punch and clarity; mahogany sides and back, bringing brightness and note definition; a custom 1 3/4 nut width and a custom cutaway for easier access to the lower frets.
Pete Huttlinger used his OM1AC on the album, The Santa Rita Connection - and it is featured on the cover. If you are looking for that award winning fingerstyle sound, this is the guitar for you. To see Pete play this guitar, click here for a Collings showcase.
This 2009 Collings OM1AC is in excellent condition with just a few minor scratches as well as a few small dings to the top and back, none of which are through the finish. There is an impression on the front lower bout of the guitar running from the bass side to about the middle of the bridge, this is not through the finish and can be seen in the detailed photographs below. Custom Calton Hardshell Case Included.

The Santa Cruz Roy Southerner is much more than a tribute to the guitar virtuoso of 1937 who performed with these deluxe stage instruments that were set up for Hawaiian playing styles. This beautiful retro offering incorporates the modifications requested by modern players to make vintage instruments compatible with contemporary fretting styles. The result is one that Roy Smeck would have been proud to play, with a deep, rich sunburst and larger than life sound.
The RS is designed for a commanding presence. SCGC's specially tapered bracing and body depth give the instrument considerable headroom to be driven hard and still maintain tonal integrity. The neck is designed for maximum string space at the nut, though we custom ordered this guitar with a 1 3/4" nut, to allow for very clean fingering. The right hand is also given more space, 2-5/16 inches, between the outside strings. The satisfying playability is enhanced by the suppleness of the 24-3/4 inch string length. SCGC employes hallmark lutherie skills to manipulate the sound hole size, bridge plate position and top deflection to achieve an ideal EQ for the RS, a big embraceable companion with a really pretty face.
This RS has quite a few custom appointments making it a truly unique guitar. The nut width was changed to 1 3/4" for more familiarity and playability. The logo was changed to a Vintage Script logo with a "Roy Southerner" inlaid beneath in 1929 style letters. True to vintage styling, we opted for a custom "Firestripe" pickguard which is the perfect finishing touch on this iconic instrument. Come play this guitar for yourself and find out why it is one of our favorite models!

We've received another 12-fret National Triolian in all its... wooden glory? That's right, my friends, the always daring folks at National have yet again introduced another replica with painstaking detail and accuracy. Hanging on the wall, it looks like any other steel body Triolian we have seen - even down to the "rolled" edge stylings around the body. But once you pick it up, it's light as a feather.
Each uses a maple-laminate body which is hand painted in walnut-burst with matching steel coverplate. The maple neck features an ivoroid-bound rosewood fretboard complete with inlaid mother-of-pearl position markers. A nickel plated tailpiece highlights the unique look of this wood body guitar.

The Santa Cruz H13, their interpreted adaptation of Gibson's 1937 Nick Lucas, has always been one of our most popular shop models. Despite its small appearance, the Santa Cruz H13 employs a body depth approaching that of a much larger dreadnought-sized guitar, producing superb volume and bass support to bolster its rich tone. With its player-driven design that has 13 frets clear of the body, plus special soundhole and bridge locations, the H-13 capitalizes upon the best attributes of a 12-fret's resonance and a 14-fret's access. The body fits perfectly in your hands, inspiring gorgeous strumming sounds or intricate finger-picked passages.
This custom 2010 Santa Cruz H13 features an all Koa body, and on this particular instrument the figuring of the Koa is absolutely stunning. With a beautifully dark, rich, set chosen for this one, the S29 Herringbone perfectly contrasts the beauty of the wood. Leave it to Santa Cruz to provide choice woods such as this. The tone of this guitar is rich and powerful with a focus in the mid-range that seems to fall in between mahogany and rosewood. The high end is crystal clear without being overpowering. The bracing pattern is unique to this model, utilizing a hybrid pattern that combines both scalloped and tapered braces. The depth of the guitar contributes to the larger bass presence that the H13 body style features. A smaller guitar, that is incredibly comfortable to play, as well provides a massive sound is a rare feat indeed, and the Santa Cruz H13 provides all of this in spades.
Some other choice appointments for this special instrument are a custom Solid peghead, with a gorgeous Torch inlay. Additionally, the style 45 fretboard inlays with the "SCGC" logo at the 12th fret take this beautiful guitar over the top!
This 2010 Santa Cruz H13 Custom is in excellent condition that is hard to distinguish used from new. There are a few very minor scratches and a couple small dings that can be seen in the detail photographs below. Original Hardshell Case included.
