Bedell Coffee House Dreadnought
The Bedell Coffee House Dreadnought is more then just a looker, it's a guitar built to inspire. This guitar was built responsibly and carefully from premium Adirondack Spruce and sustainably grown Indian Rosewood.
Adirondack was the legendary top wood used on most pre-war American-made guitars. Adirondack wood has a high stiffness across and along the grain, making it one of the go-to top woods for flat-pickers.
The set of Indian Rosewood used on the back and sides of this guitar keep things very warm with tone that is rich, full, and powerful. The combintaion of Adirondack and Indian has become a staple in the world of guitar building.
Tom Bedell shares his opinion that the Coffee House series "are exquisitely crafted to revive the spirit that inspired the incredible music of the counterculture era". These guitars are built to be as briliant as the legendary music of the folk rock generation.
