Bedell Wildfire Dreadnought Guitar Fireburst Finish
The Bedell Wildfire is the most soulful, native series of instruments we craft. Built from all American wood with amazing handcrafted detail, they fill the room with the American sound that has made the guitar our countries most popular musical instrument.
Beyond a forest-friendly production process, these guitars offer the highest level of hand-tuning and frequency-matching know-how. Each Bedell instrument offers extraordinary tonal performance enjoyed by diverse and discerning musicians.
The beauty of the flamed maple and the power of the sturdy Adirondack when accented by the exquisite appointments and stunning Fire Burst...the desire to hang the Bedell Wildfire on the wall as art will be overcome by the inability of musicians to put it down. We have figured out how to appreciate the unique musical gifts of each of these generous American woods and pair them together to achieve a liveliness that must be experienced.
Adirondack delivers volume and clarity without distortion even with heavy picking. Adirondack is relatively heavy, with a high velocity of sound, and has the highest stiffness of all top woods across and along the grain.
On average, most bigleaf trees live to be around 100 years old; they generally reach 50 to 60 feet tall and two to three feet in diameter. It is nearly impossible to salvage fallen bigleaf maple for fine instruments because once fallen, the wood immediately begins to stain and rot, compromising the structural integrity of the wood fibers.
The workshop-installed K&K Pure Mini pickups in the Bedell Wildfire Dreadnought capture the authentic fullness of analog sound and the vibe of the era, without stage feedback. The ethically sourced tonewoods, the all-wood binding and subtle appointments result in a classic instrument, made with the same care, attention and craftsmanship as guitars from the golden era of instrument building… all at an accessible price point.
There are some very light surface scratches on the headstock around the logo which we have attempted to capture in the detailed photos posted below.
