good as it sounds!
This custom MT2 O mandolin made it's debut at the 2015 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA...and has now come back by popular demand! With an opaque ivory top finish, rich translucent brown stain on the back/sides/neck, and a bound ivoroid pickguard, this beauty pays tribute to the classic oval hole style of the early 1920s.
Adirondack Spruce is highly responsive with great volume. This tonewood is known for warm, lush, thick sounds with a smooth high end and punchy midrange. It doesn't need to be played hard to sound great, although that is its wheelhouse.
The Adirondack Spruce top is coupled with a gorgeous set of Eastern Flame Maple. This combonation makes for a sweeter, an even and lush sounding Mandolin with a full spectrum of sound.
The customized Ivory Top Finish, Translucent Brown Back/Sides/Neck Stain, and Bound Ivoroid Pickguard make this unique MT2 a sure eye catcher.
