Fender Custom Shop
For 30 years the extraordinarily talented luthiers of the Fender Custom Shop have been providing the most illustrious guitar players of their day with their dream instruments. If yours is a guitar that has the soul of a vintage guitar and the ergonomics of a modern guitar, your dream has come true.
Fender's legendary Nocaster electric guitars were the immediate precursor to their iconic Teles. Existing for a short time between the Broadcaster and Telecaster names was the famed Nocaster, and this Custom Shop beauty harkens back to those early days of the design. Players are still in search of those vintage instruments for their old-school-sounding electronics and incredible-playing necks!
This '51 Nocaster has a strong and smooth playing quartersawn "AA" Flame maple neck with a modern 9.5" radius to the fretboard. It is loaded with a '51 Tele Bridge pickup and a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1 in the neck. This makes for one versatile and rocking tele with period-correct twang and clarity.
Even for players who take great care of their guitars, a fall from a stand, other people’s wandering hands, or even the mysteriously-appearing ding can take a toll. Each of those marks adds character. And that’s what you get with Fender Custom Shop’s Journeyman Relic level. A well-taken-care-of instrument that has been played, gigged, and loved.
Other custom features to this guitar include a Select Light Weight Body with Lake Placid Blue finish, Bone Nut, Vintage Black position and side markers, Wide 12th Fret Dot Spacing, Gold Hardware, '51-'53 Tele Brass Saddles, Vintage Style Tuning Machines, Anodized Gold Pickguard, and Vintage Knurled Tele style Knobs.
Includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
This Pre-Owned Guitar is in Excellent Condition w/ no wear or tear to mention.
