The Fender Custom Shop 1963 Heavy Relic Stratocaster solidbody electric guitar will transport you to a time when surf rock was king. Featuring a relic'd, deep-contoured alder body and three hand-wound '60s Stratocaster single-coil pickups, this remarkable solidbody electric guitar sings with classic Stratocaster tone.
Bell-like, jangly, smooth, and bluesy are all words that can capture the sound of these Fender Custom Shop hand-wound 1964 single-coil Stratocaster pickups. This paired with the 57 Style Soft "V" Neck profile (found on the Eric Clapton signature model) makes for an unbelievabley smooth playing and sounding guitar.
As you can imagine, a true 1963 Strat would show signs of wear and tear, and this Fender Custom Shop 1963 Heavy Relic Stratocaster solidbody electric guitar is finished to represent those years of playing.
