Goodall RS 339 Rosewood Standard Spruce & Indian Rosewood

James Goodall is an artisan of superb craftsmanship with an exacting finesse for detail and wood choice, combined with robust, three dimensional sound character. These qualities embody every James Goodall guitar.

The amazingly rich, powerful bass and midrange is blended with a brilliant treble shimmering with harmonic overtones. The RS is arguably the most balanced guitar he makes, James feels that the Goodall RS Standard is the crowning achievement of his luthierie career.

Approximately the same cavity size as the dreadnought guitar, that is where the resemblance stops. More than one musician has commented that "this guitar makes others sound like they are stuffed full of cotton." Whether in your living room, in the studio, or on stage, this one excels.

The top of this Rosewood Standard is Spruce, which allows for lots of projection and responsiveness when played with a lighter touch or even bare fingers.  Not to be fooled, however, this guitar will take some flatpicking and strumming as well, as long as you don't push it too hard.  The tone is warm, rich, and effortless.

This Guitar has been outfitted with an LR Baggs Undersaddle and Condenser mic that requires Phantom power to operate.

This Pre-Owned Guitar is in Good Condition for its age w/ scratches and dings throughout the entire instrument. The frets only have minor wear but the guitar plays and sounds better than it ever has before!
