Huss and Dalton CM-12 Cutaway
Whether you are a songwriter needing an inspirational writing tool, a discerning fingerstylist, or a little bit of both - the Huss and Dalton CM is the perfect answer. This custom appointed piece showcases the beautiful artistry that only a small shop can offer.
Despite being somewhat smaller than a dreadnought; the body depth of the CM, measuring in at 4 5/8, boosting the low-end warmth and response. The Thermo-cured Adirondack Spruce top exhibits a richer, more complex tone than Sitka; while being exceptionally responsive to both fingerstyle and light strumming. The choice of Sinker Mahogany hardens out the dynamic range, bringing punch and definition with trebles that can cut through any mix. The soft cutaway gives ease of access to the higher frets(especially nice on a 12 fret) without sacrificing tone or volume. When fingerpicking, each note is rich and strong, yet well defined and easily articulated.
This model has been outfitted with an enlarged soundhole! Measured at 4 3/8" this modification signifigantly balances the guitar and levels out frequencies along the top.
This custom model is beautifully appointed with Maple body & neck bindings, an abalone rosette, Nickel Waverly tuners with Ivoroid Buttons, a Pure Western MINI Transducer Pickup System, and a Walnut Neck.
