Huss and Dalton DS Crossroads Sitka and Mahogany
It was exciting when our friends at Huss & Dalton introduced their DS Crossroads model. For years we have felt they make a stellar slope shoulder guitar. When they decided to make this new model they took their Standard DS and converted it to a flattop with a short 24.9" scale. Then, in their words, they "took a chisel to the bracing to compensate for the shorter scale length." On top of that they kept the appointments simple like guitars were from a long gone era. They call it a working mans guitar. We call it amazing.
It has a great voice and feel for flatpicking and strumming as well as fingerstyle. It's one of the most versatile guitars you will play. The DS Crossroad features a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides with a dark walnut stain to compliment the custom sunburst top.
Other appointments include an East Indian Rosewood fretboard and bridge, tigerstripe pick guard, cream body binding with simple matching rosette, MOP dot fingerboard inlays, nitrocellulose high gloss body finish, and ebony bridge pins with mop dots.
Stop by and try it if you are near. The bell like quality of this guitar will bewitch you. If you can't stop by please give us a call. We will do an in hand description of it for you.
