Huss and Dalton TD M Custom

The topwood on this guitar is Thermo-Cured Red (Adirondack) Spruce, one of the most aggressive and powerful woods available.  Adirondack provides virtually unlimited headroom when played hard, perfect for heavy handed bluegrass players who are competing with louder string band instruments such as banjos and fiddles.

The Mahogany back and sides produces a tone that is clear and incredibly powerful.  The low end is spectacular.  The midrange, while maintaining stunning clarity and definition, is very smooth and pleasant, making for a very balanced D-18 style sound without the harsh upper mids and trebles that can sometimes jump out.

All Huss and Dalton guitars are braced exclusively with Adirondack Spruce, often considered an option with other builders. This wood is denser than the usual Sitka Spruce, offering a speedy transfer of energy across the top via the forward-shifted scalloped X brace, far more
efficient for a quick response to string attack.

This Huss and Dalton TD M Guitar with Thermo-cured Red Spruce and Sinker Mahogany Pre-Owned 2015 is in Excellent + Condiion with only some light pick scratches on the pickguard.  We have attempted to capture this in the detailed photos posted below.

Includes Hardshell Case.
