Huss & Dalton TD-M
The Huss & Dalton TD-M is the company's take on a classic mahogany dreadnought. Mahogany dreadnoughts such as the Martin D18 & classic slope shouldered Gibson J45 have been a staple in the guitar world and have been recorded on countless records in recording studios all over the world. Some people would say that mahogany has a sound that is boring and dry compared to their rosewood counterparts but this TD-M has a sound that is anything but understated.
Flat-top construction; a custom Red Spruce top and mahogany back and sides will give you power, and sonic persuasion, subtly decorated with tortoise-style binding and four-line top purfling. The TD-M combines the power of the rosewood TD-R with a warmer, more balanced tonal spectrum that may leave you breathless. This TD-M has been braced with Adirondack Spruce & the top brace has been glued with Hot Hide Glue, giving it more resonating power compared to other modern day acoustics.
