Huss & Dalton TD-R Custom

This Huss and Dalton TD-R is everything you'd expect a high end Brazilian Rosewood guitar to be... and then some.  Huss and Dalton's Traditional flattop series brings the best of the past to the present. As is true with all of the instruments Huss and Dalton offers, the T-DR show a reverence and respect for past builders, but with a passion for ingenuity.

The back and sides of this TD-R feature the legendary Brazilian species of Rosewood.  Brazilian is considered the "Holy Grail" of tonewoods and it certainly lives up to the legend on this guitar from Huss and Dalton.  We instantly noticed the rich low end this guitar is capable of and fell in love with the tone with just a few G-Chord strums.  While maintaining a strong, powerful low end, there is a sparkle on the upper end not found on Indian Rosewood guitars making the tone very clear and distinct.  This powerful guitar offers plenty of oomph needed to get over a string band while keeping your lead lines thick and meaty. Done with an Adirondack Red Spruce top, which brings richness, punch, and complex overtones with virtually unlimited headroom.  Huss and Dalton chose an exceptional set for this guitar.  Adirondack is ideal for flatpickers or players who play with a heavy attack and need the most volume and power possible.

Another clear advantage to Huss and Dalton's guitars are their use of Adirondack for top bracing. Adirondack has a greater strength-to-weight ratio than other brace woods, thus allowing for a more efficient transfer of energy through the top, making the entire guitar more responsive.

This Pre-Owned Guitar is in Very Good Condition w/ only a couple light dings on the top above the soundhole(see photos) and some scratches on the pickguard, on the top, and a couple on the back. This Guitar has also been professionally repaired by Joe Glaser Instruments for a bridge lift.
