National ResoPhonic Mahogany 14 Fret Guitar

This Pre-Owned NRP-14 fret model captures the look and feel of an original 14 fret National Duolian. The National ResoPhonic Mahogany 14 Fret Guitar is a completely unique custom creation.

The tone of the M 14 is much larger and fuller than the other Nationals, thanks to the wood body.  When compared to the metal bodied Nationals, the wood bodies are much warmer with a bit more controlled reverberation.

Playing this stunning guitar, it is very easy to get lost in the warmth of it's voice. Like playing a vintage radio, or the feeling of a good vinyl record, the classic sound of all National guitars come from the iconic AlNiCo National cones. Hand-spun, these cones are vital to making any resonator sound like a classic.

Mahogany is a good wood to anchor a discussion of tones, as a lot of other wood tones can be described in relation to it. Its essential sonic profile is well represented in the midrange frequencies. Acoustic guitars in general tend to live in the midrange portion of the sound spectrum, but mahogany in particular displays a lot of midrange character.

This Pre-Owned Guitar is in Excellent Condition with no wear or tear to mention!
