1991 Yamaha SA2200 Semi-Hollowbody with Humbuckers Laminated Maple Body ID-5892
1991 Yamaha SA2200 Semi-Hollowbody with Humbuckers Laminated Maple Body
The Yamaha SA2200 is a Japanese made semi-hollowbody electric guitar that replicates the instantly familiar Gibson 335 design, though with some refinements.
The SA2200’s laminated maple body features a solid mahogany center block to reduce feedback and enhance sustain, complementing the presence and attack of the maple. This contributes to the remarkable versatility of this guitar, allowing it to deliver everything from the mellow warmth of a classic archtop to the aggressive snap of a solid body.
The 1 piece mahogany neck offers an ultra-comfortable profile and setup while the traditional set-neck construction ensures the tone offers the ideal balance between clarity and warmth. Fitted with a pair of custom-wound Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers, the guitar offers huge versatility and a massive tonal palette. The SA2200’s elite specification continues with gold hardware, and ebony fretboard.
This pre-owned instrument has some light finish scratches. These can be seen in the detailed photographs. There is some oxidation and wear on some of the gold hardware, also pictured. Check out the specs on this pre owned Yamaha.
