1999 Fender American Stratocaster Black with White Pickguard ID-9053
1999 Fender American Stratocaster Black with White Pickguard
Fender American Stratocasters represent the latest evolution of Fender's iconic design. More than a decade of player feedback, culled directly from consumer comments and player input, was incorporated into the creation and refinement of these guitars. From the feel of the neck to the tone of the pickups, the result is a better sounding, better playing Strat.
This model incorporates several refinements into the classic design. The body is alder, the fingerboard is maple with hand rolled fingerboard edges for ultimate comfort and playability and a perfect "broken in" feeling. Three staggered single-coil pickups with five way switching will be very familiar to Strat lovers. The staggered tuning machines provide more of an angle over the nut for better tuning.
Another great feature of this Strat is the Micro-Tilt neck adjustment. This feature acts as a shim allowing the player to adjust the tilt of the neck in order to get the action just right for their particular playing style.
This guitar has a few finish scratches and dents which we have attempted to capture in the detailed photos. It has moderate fretwear and includes the original molded hardshell case.
