2000 Fender Telecaster with Custom Lollar Pickups ID-5814
2000 Fender Telecaster with Custom Lollar Pickups
A large number of guitar players have expressed a desire for an American made guitar that doesn't break the bank, and Fender has provided that with the introduction of the American Standard series. The Telecaster is among one of the first mass-produced solid body electric guitars. The Fender Telecaster is largely considered a "Country" or Nashville guitar but, the Telecaster has forced it's way into all genres of music spanning from funk, jazz, and even hard rock. In fact, The Telecaster was the guitar Jimmy Page armed himself with for the solo in "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin.
The Telecaster's Alder body provides a great tonal resonance with out being to heavy. With the option of a Rosewood or Maple neck this guitar has the Maple fretboard that provides great clarity and crispness. The Olympic White finish looks great on this guitar and doesn't cover up the Alder wood grain.
While the standard telecaster features Standard Single Coil Tele® bridge and neck pickups, this Tele is equipped with Custom Jason Lollar Vintage T pickups. The Lollar Vintage T Bridge Pickup provides the classic Telecaster twang, but a touch more sustain then the standard single coil pickups. The Vintage T Neck Pickup opens up this Telecaster with a clear top end and a full bodied mind range.
This guitar is hard to distinguish from new with minor finish scratches. Original SKB Hardshell case is included.
