2000 Goodall Concert Jumbo with Mastergrade Adirondack Spruce and Macassar Ebony

In November 1998 after 26 years of building some of the finest steel string guitars ever constructed, James Goodall announced the addition of an exciting new box size. This is in response to increasing requests for a more comfortable, smaller body dimension than the Goodall Standard (near in size to the Dreadnought). The end result is a beautiful new shape called the Goodall Concert Jumbo. "The powerful, rich, and clear tone has exceeded my expectations," James Goodall said of his new Concert Jumbo.

The Concert Jumbo series guitar is slightly smaller than the Standard series and larger than the Grand Concert series guitar. It is available with all the same fine options and wood choices as in all Goodall guitars.

This Goodall Concert Jumbo is perfectly balanced, with great note separation and a strong voice that's full of low-mid punch and crisp trebles. This guitar has an incredibly balanced tone across the frequency spectrum which makes it perfect for fingerstyle arrangements where the inner voices are important. Every note is clear and separate but still blends perfectly with the rest of the notes being played.

This 2000 Goodall Concert Jumbo with Mastergrade Adirondack Spruce and Macassar Ebony is in excellent condition with only light surface scratches on the top and pickguard. Additionally, it has some very light finish sinking in two places on the top which you can view in the detailed photos below. It has very minor fretwear and includes the original hardshell case.
