2001 Michael Dunn Belleville Gypsy "Django Maccaferri Style" Guitar

Michael Dunn has been building instruments for over 40 years and has put more than 530 hand-made instruments into the hands of the world's foremost players, collectors, and investors. Many of Dunn's instruments, just as this Belleville model, celebrate the tradition of Django Reinhardt's "Gypsy Jazz" and the Selmer guitars of the 1930s. The Michael Dunn Belleville is a long scale instrument measuring 26 3/8" that uses very light gauge strings, a configuration preferred by Django himself. This setup results in a crisp, singing tone. It speaks quickly and easily and responds well to a vibrato technique.

There are some dents on the top of this instrument and some finish checking on the back. There is a small dent on the back of the headstock at the very top. Hardshell case included.
