2002 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop 1957 Reissue ID-6123
2002 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop 1957 Reissue
The Gibson Les Paul Custom is faithfully replicated from the original 1957 Goldtop model - but with a few modern twists. Despite its journey through the years, the Les Paul Custom has managed to keep up with the times without a hitch. It is perhaps one of the most recognizable finishes. The '57 Gibson Goldtop is an iconic instrument. It was one the very first Les Paul's to use and popularize the Humbucker pickup on Les Paul's and other Gibson models.
This 2002 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop features a one-piece mahogany neck, carved maple top and warm-toned mahogany body. A Rosewood fingerboard with pearl trapezoid inlays gives it a bright attack. Gibson also includes a bound body, neck, and head with nickel hardware. This Gibson has been reissued to satisfy the needs of any Les Paul fanatic.
This Gold Top features two BurstBucker pickups in the neck and bridge position. These pickups are the most accurate reproduction vintage-PAF-style humbuckers Gibson has ever offered. They yield everything from warm, fluid vocal tones to fat sweet growl.
Hard to distinguish used from new this 2002 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop is in absolutely pristine condition. There were just a few minor scuffs on the back as well as a very small dent on the neck. None of this is through the finish. Original Hardshell Case is Included.
