2004 Huss and Dalton MJC Jumbo Cutaway Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood

This pre-owned 2004 version of the Huss and Dalton MJC is highly responsive across the tonal spectrum, offering effortless playability with pure, clean tone. As with all of their instruments, this one is braced with hand-split Adirondack bracing adding more rigidity to the Sitka top.

This MJC features an especially beautiful set of Sitka Spruce on the top with Indian Rosewood on the back and sides.

The Sitka top sounds great when played fingerstyle or when flatpicked and strummed. Huss and Dalton's famous bell-like tone is accentuated with lush, blossoming overtones, and smooth, pleasant mids and highs. The cutaway allows for effortless reach to higher notes for lead players and with the jumbo body size, tone is never sacrificed.

Huss & Dalton's MJC is a mid-sized jumbo model measuring 16" across the lower bout with a depth of 4 1/2". Reminiscent of a smaller, more manageable version of the Super Jumbo's, these instruments have always had a certain allure to them. Known for their powerful strumming ability, the Medium Jumbo excels at singer-songwriter accompaniment, however, can still be finger-picked with ease.

Huss and Dalton added a vintage Toner to the top of this one, giving it a gorgeous caramel color in person. Their unique Stingray inlays and the half-herringbone purfling give this guitar an especially classy look as well.

This 2004 Huss and Dalton MJC Jumbo Cutaway Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood has a few small dents and surface scratches which we have attempted to capture in the photos. It has very minor fretwear and includes the original hardshell case.
