2007 Martin D-42 Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood
The Martin D-42 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar has a solid spruce top that generates rich Martin tone, while gorgeous rosewood back and sides add crisp projection. Vintage features include forward-shifted scalloped bracing, traditional Martin Style 45 snowflake fingerboard inlays, elegant grained ivoroid bindings on the top and lush ebony fretboard, and gold tuning gears with butterbean knobs.
This guitar has a rich, classic Martin tone with lush, deep chords and strong lead lines. There is a scratch on the top of the headstock, as shown in the detail photograph. The B-String tuner bushing has been reglued. There is a small scratch/dent on the bottom waist and 2 similar dents on the bottom near the endpin... each is less than 1/2" in length and could not be photographed. Hardshell case included.
