Collings 290 Custom with Full Pellham blue aged finish & Imperial Standard Wind pickups
Named for the scenic 290 highway that winds past the Collings shop through theTexas Hill Country, the 290 is a modern day tribute to the original working man's rock'nroll guitar. A solid mahogany body and neck are complimented by two Imperial standard wind pickups for a tone that shows off the amazing harmonic range and dynamics of this often underrated configuration.
Each Collings 290 is constructed of solid Honduran mahogany that is acquired, acclimated, and hand selected for density and acoustical response by master luthiers at the Collings shop.
This custom model features Imperial Standard Wind pickups at the neck and bridge, a very aesthetically pleasing Full Pellham Blue finish, and aged hardware.
