Collings 01A 12 Fret guitars are a joy to play. With softer contours and a longer body dimension than an 0 14-Fret model, the 0 12-Fret has a balanced and full tone with slightly more bass and overall volume. This Collings O1 has a custom Adirondack Spruce top which gives this guitar more punch and volume due to being stiffer than Sitka. This means while it is a fantastic guitar for fingerstyle players it will also hold up to a strong flat picker. Take a closer look at the set of Adirondack on this guitar and you will see lovely wide grains.

The Adi top compliments the really straight grain Mahogany Back & Sides. Mahogany guitars have great note definition, dry and crisp. It also features a comfortable short 24 7/8" scale, a custom 1 ¾” Nut Width and 2 3/16" string spacing at the bridge, this model is a versatile choice for any guitarist.

This guitar is perfect for travel or sitting on the couch. Perfect to take to song writing sessions or playing on stage. It is really versatile and we invite you to take it home. You will be glad you did!
