This 2012 Collings D2HA has an explosive sound that will fill any room. The guitar started it's life here at Artisan Guitars almost 10 years ago and is back as a pre-owned instrument. The guitar has been incredibly well taken care of over the years and has developed a gorgeous character in it's look, feel and sound.
The varnished finish has aged beautifully and has taken on the characteristic yellow tinge which is particularly noticeable on the bindings and Adirondack Spruce top. If you're looking for a powerful bluegrass machine or just a solid strummer, this is it! And to top it off the guitar is signed by the late great ,Bill Collings.
The guitar has several small blemishes on the top and butt. These are mostly all pinhead size dings and are not through the finish. There is one longer ding, approximately 2 inches in length that is also not through the finish. The pickguard has your typical pick marks with a few that extend onto the wood of the guitar. On the butt of the guitar near the end pin is a cluster of shallow dings that are not through the finish. All of the markings on the guitar are extremely shallow and hard to notice. It took considerable effort to get them to show up on camera. Overall the guitar has been extremely well taken care of.
