With the appearance of being rough and tough this custom Collings Guitars I35 sports a familiar body, a Premium Flamed Maple Top and Throback ER MXV Humbuckers. The I35 model is Collings' tribute to the heritage of the double cutaway semi-hollow electric guitar.

Built with a combination of Premium Flamed Maple and Mahogany, the resonating frequencies from this guitar are richer on the high end with more overtone warmth for a robust, mature sound. Mahogany is well known for its resonating properties and exhibits a loud, solid mid-range response with a darker low end more akin to what you would expect from a solid body instrument. The comfortable 60's neck profile and 12" radius gives this guitar versatility and ease of playability whether you're playing for 4 hours in a bar or rehearsing in the studio. The Throbak Humbuckers emulate the best properties of a vintage PAF in a modern casing that is versatile enough to sound contemporary & vintage.
