The Collings MF Deluxe Mandolin takes the ever-popular MF model and gives it the upscale features you would expect from a Collings Deluxe model. With the combination of a premium Adirondack Spruce top and a figured Eastern Maple back and sides, this mandolin has exceptional tone and volume. This incredibly crafted instrument produces a beautiful, rich tone.

The MF Deluxe features a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer top and peghead veneer with a satin finish on the back, sides and neck. The Deluxe model also includes grained ivoroid binding on the body, fingerboard, peghead, and pickguard. This mandolin has a beautiful dark sunburst giving it the classic, elegant aesthetic.

Collings offers tours of their workshop on Fridays. The section that is devoted to mandolin production is just spectacular. You can not imagine how much work goes into each one.
