Collings MF Mandolin with Sunburst Finish

The Collings MF Mandolin takes the combination of a premium Adirondack Spruce top and Maple back and sides, and combines it with premium appointments. This incredibly crafted instrument produces a beautiful, rich tone.

The MF features a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer top and peghead veneer with a satin finish on the back, sides and neck. The model also includes a grained ivoroid binding on the body. This mandolin has a beautiful dark sunburst giving it the classic, elegant aesthetic.

Collings offers tours of their workshop on Fridays. The section that is devoted to mandolin production is just spectacular. You can not imagine how much work goes into each one. If you haven't tried a Collings Mandolin you really need to. They are made for the players.. by the players. When you strum your first strum you will fall in love.

This Pre-Owned Mandolin is in Excellent Condition w/ very light towel marks on the top, and some very light scratches on the tailpiece.
