Collings SoCo LC w/ Walnut Finish
Collings has reinvigorated the industry with their take on classic design. Named after Austin's funky and eclectic South Congress Avenue, the Collings SoCo is all about attitude. This model brings in elements from both the I-35 and CL models to create a unique hybrid that is all its own. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?
Since Collings moved into the electric arena in 2006, they have had an interest in the role that laminate woods play in the tone of classic semi-hollow electrics and jazz guitars, and it was only a matter of time before Collings delved into a new variation. After much research and experimentation, and a few dissected classic guitars later... they were ready to introduce their LC Models
Named after the vibrant and eclectic South Congress district of Austin, TX, The SoCo LC combines some of the most well loved features and sounds from the heritage of semi-hollow guitars with a distinctive look and feel all its own. A 15" lower bout gives this SoCo a comfortable, well balanced feel and exceptional note articulation.
A set of Lollar Low Wind Imperial Humbuckers produce the perfect tone to add to an already wonderful guitar!
This guitar sports a gorgeous Walnut Finish throughout the entire instrument.
