Huss and Dalton Crossroads 12 Fret
What our friends at Huss and Dalton have to say about their new model, the Crossroads 12 Fret: "Hot on the heels of its successful 14-fretted cousin, the Crossroads 12 is a "vintage blues machine" with a shorter neck for more punch. The body is attached at the 12th fret rather than the 14th creating lovely sustain as well as better note separation and portability. Like the original Crossroads, the 12 comes standard with rosewood fretboard and bridge, mahogany back and sides, and a sitka spruce top with a glowing vintage sunburst finish."
Smaller in body but mammoth in tone, this 00 is based on a true classic of acoustic guitars the L-00. Styled after Gibson's legendary pre-war flat-top L-00, long favored by players of all styles, the L-00 is an icon for good reason. Often favored by blues players, fingerstyle pickers and folk artists, these guitars are noted for their easy playability due to their body size and decisively focused sound. Even the tobacco sunburst finish evokes a vintage vibe!
Huss and Dalton strive to bring the same style, tone and quality to a smaller-bodied flat-top that was ideally suited to the performance needs of players today. Handcrafted in Staunton, Virginia in small production numbers, each guitar is built to order.
For those players that are looking to recreate a pre-war sound, with modern upgrades, and that is not in danger of needing a neck reset, bridge re-glue, crack repair, etc, your ship has come in. Plus, you won't need to sell your soul to afford this blues machine!
