Huss and Dalton Singletree 5 String Banjo with Dobson Tone Ring ID-8508
Huss and Dalton Singletree 5 String Banjo with Dobson Tone Ring
In addition to over 3400 guitars, Jeff Huss and Mark Dalton have built several hundred banjos and are doing their mentor Geoff Stelling proud while finding their own voice in these great sounding instruments. More "traditional" sounding than Stelling, they have that Mastertone growl with their own unique pop and sparkle. The Huss and Dalton Singletree Banjo is one of their most popular models, coming in at an attractive price for a hand-crafted instrument from builders with an impressive pedigree of banjo-building.
This Singletree model features simple lines, traditional dowel stick construction with a 12 inch rim and Frailing scoop which make this a perfect companion for old-time music styles.
Features include the 12 inch 3-ply Maple rim, Indian Rosewood cap on bottom of rim, dowel stick, and heel cap, 17 fret fingerboard with Frailing scoop, Nickel plated grooved tension hoop, leaf inlay on peghead, Five Star Planet tuners and 2-way adjustable truss rod.
This banjo is in excellent condition with only a few small surface scratches on the side. It has very minor fretwear and includes the original Tweed hardshell case.
