Pre Owned 2013 Collings D1 Sitka Spruce and Mahogany

Here is your opportunity to get yourself a Collings D1. Or get your significant other a D1!

This Standard D1 has a Sitka Top and Mahogany Back & Sides. Sitka is such a responsive spruce with a clear, sweet, crisp tone. We love the combo of Sitka and Mahogany - you get great note definition and being a Collings dreadnought you will will have plenty of volume.

This guitar is also incredibly balanced in it's frequency response. Notes are rich and full all the way up and down the neck. The midrange and high-end sparkle will cut through any studio or on-stage mix with ease. The lows are balanced, defined, well rounded, and never boomy. Whether you flatpick or finger pick this guitar will make a great addition to your collection.

Although its bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also often employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles.

This Pre Owned 2013 Collings D1 Sitka Spruce and Mahogany is in excellent + condition with only a few very minor pickguard scratches. It has minor fretwear and includes the original hardshell case.
