Pre Owned 2013 Huss and Dalton OM-C with Cedar and Indian Rosewood ID-8670
Here is a mint custom OM-C from our friends at Huss & Dalton. H&D build their standard models with a 25” radius in the top. The positive by-product of the radiused soundboard design is a boost in the mid-range without overpowering the bass and trebles. This design function is showcased in this guitar, boasting unsurpassed tonal balance.
This guitar features a solid Cedar top paired with Indian Rosewood back and sides. It produces a uniquely warm and complete tone that's perfect for fingerstyle and vocal accompaniment.
Cedar is less dense than spruce, and that softness typically translates into a sense of sonic warmth. If Sitka has a full dynamic range, cedar makes quieter tones louder. If one tries to drive a cedar top hard, at a certain point it will reach a volume limit. Typically, players with a lighter touch sound wonderful on a cedar-top guitar, fingerstyle players especially — that lighter touch will be amplified a little more, and one's attack never reaches the ceiling. Approaching a Cedar top with an exerted amount of aggression, or "gravity" in your right hand, would tend to hit the ceiling faster.
This Pre Owned 2013 Huss and Dalton OM-C with Cedar and Indian Rosewood is in excellent + condition with only a couple of small surface scratches as seen in detailed photos below. It has very minor fretwear and includes the original hardshell case.
