Pre-Owned Huss and Dalton TDM Custom with Thermo-cured Red Spruce and Sinker Mahogany

The topwood on this guitar is Thermo-Cured Red (Adirondack) Spruce, one of the most aggressive and powerful woods available. Adirondack provides virtually unlimited headroom when played hard, perfect for heavy handed bluegrass players who are competing with louder string band instruments such as banjos and fiddles.

The Sinker Mahogany back and sides produces a tone that is clear and incredibly powerful. The low end is spectacular. The midrange, while maintaining stunning clarity and definition, is very smooth and pleasant, making for a very balanced D-18 style sound without the harsh upper mids and trebles that can sometimes jump out.

This guitar is incredibly balanced in it's frequency response. Note are rich and full all the way up and down the neck. The midrange an high-end sparkle will cut through any studio or on-stage mix with ease. The lows are balanced, defined, well rounded, and never boomy.

It strums with the best of them, but has a neck that flatpicks beautifully across the board. The Mahogany back and sides keep your lead lines clear and distinct, just like the classic flatpicking recordings we've grown to love from players like Clarence White, Doc Watson, and Norman Blake.

This Pre-Owned 2015 H&D TDM Custom is in Excellent Condition with no play wear or fret wear. There are a few light surface scratches on the pickguard. We have attempted to capture this in the detailed photos below.

Includes Original Hardshell Case.
