Huss & Dalton DS Crossroads Sitka & Mahogany
It was exciting when our friends at Huss & Dalton introduced their DS Crossroads model. For years we have felt they make a stellar slope shoulder guitar. When they decided to make this new model they took their Standard DS and converted it to a flattop with a short 24.75" scale. Then, in their words, they "took a chisel to the bracing to compensate for the shorter scale length." On top of that they kept the appointments simple like guitars were from a long gone era. They call it a working mans guitar.
It has a great voice and feel for flatpicking and strumming as well as fingerstyle. It's one of the most versatile guitars you will play. The DS Crossroad features a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides with a dark walnut stain to compliment the custom sunburst top.
Other appointments include an East Indian Rosewood fretboard and bridge, Firestrip pick guard, cream body binding with simple matching rosette, MOP dot fingerboard inlays, nitrocellulose high gloss body finish, and ebony bridge pins with mop dots.
This Pre-Owned Guitar is in Good Condition w/ scratches and dings throughout the top, sides, and 2 dings on the headstock. (see photos)
