2006 Huss and Dalton Owens Mills Banjo Mahogany Dark Sunburst ID-8561
The Owens Mill was born out of Huss and Daltons desire to getback to building banjos in addition to their fine line of guitars. This banjo is their take on the classic flat heads of the 1930's.
This instrument features Mahogany back with a gorgeous dark sunburst finish. It has a ring in resonator, presto tailpiece, spikes, Snuffy Smith bridge and a JLS #4 Tone Ring.
This banjo plays like a dream, very even toned up and down the neck. It is very quick and smooth with a rich full sound and a strong bass.
This 2006 Huss and Dalton Owens Mills Banjo Mahogany Dark Sunburst is in excellent condition. It has had a neck re-set by Huss and Dalton in 2008 and was recently refretted. There are a few dents and scratches as well as some buckle rash on the back which we have attempted to capture in the detailed photos below. It includes the original hardshell case.
