Maton EM100 808C Messiah Series with Sitka and Indian Rosewood Cutaway
A Maton masterpiece. Blending traditional materials with exquisite craftsmanship. The Messiah represents a total, no compromise approach. Flawless attention to detail guarantees your Messiah will be an instrument of pride and pleasure for many years to come. The common pairing of Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood Back and Sides, the Maton EM100 808c will carry very familiar tonal characteristics. Combined with a cutaway, this guitar will be a joy to play.
As a guitar soundboard, or top, Sitka spruce is the tonewood considered standard of the modern era. Its combination of strength and elasticity translates into a broad dynamic range, yielding crisp articulation and allowing for everything from aggressive strumming and
flatpicking to fingerpicking.
Indian Rosewood Rosewood sounds deeper in the low end and brighter on the top end. If you look at its frequency range visually, rosewood would appear to be more scooped in the middle, yielding less midrange bloom than mahogany. It is this kind of commitment to detail and intricacy that makes this Maton instrument really stand out.
