Rare to find a new Master Built TE Personal 808 model... Even more rare to find a pre-owned one.

     The guitar was purchased from us when new, April 2025. It has been a consistent player within a fine collection of guitars. Even though it has been lovingly enjoyed during the eighteen months since it left Melbourne, noticeable wear is minimal:

• One single minute ding in the top, with subtle nail marks in the finish near the pick guard and strum marks on the guard itself.
• There is a small, shallow scratch in the finish on the back (hard to find).
• You will note several tiny marks in the headstock finish, from string changes.
• Otherwise the fret wear is very modest on the treble strings, through the 6th fret.
• While the soft Maton satin nitro finish usually shows multiple shiny areas from use, this particular guitar shows only shiny finish on back of the neck. Very clean...
• Light setup for fingerstyle, measuring 5/64" to 2/32" (Low E to High E at the 12th fret).
• Original Hiscox flight case and Maton truss rod tool included.

     Premium woods are used to craft the Maton Master Built Series in low production numbers, by a small select team of tenured builders

     All Tommy Emmanuel models feature a Mother of a custom "C.G.P." inlay on the 12th fret, the "Certified Guitar Player" moniker bestowed on Tommy by Chet Atkins. C.G.P. There is a mother of pearl "Roo" inlay on the headstock.
